I would have liked to have found something that he or a fan club posted on YouTube to share, but since I couldn't find one I saw this cute video and it seemed perfect. I laughed when I saw Tony Blair! :)

Barry's on my iPod too. I'd love to go see him with my mom someday.Cherie Cayemberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00748187506552981093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134611249290839644.post-67102127745542154972011-02-26T08:43:05.033-07:002011-02-26T08:43:05.033-07:00My mom loved Barry Manilow. Very creative - especially Tony and Rico!

I've been to a LOT of concerts over the years and the ones that left a lasting impression on me can be counted on one hand. Barry Manilow's concert in January 1983 in Lincoln, Nebraska is one of them.

His concert was just two nights after my mother died after an eight-month long battle with cancer. Maybe it was because caring for Mom during that period had consumed my life and this was my first real night out in a long time. I don't know, but for those couple hours, Barry Manilow let me escape to another world. He was the consummate entertainer. His performance helped me cross the bridge between Mom's illness and my life without her in it. That's something I will never forget.Susan Petersenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02788283253544225956noreply@blogger.com
