They died about 3 weeks apart. Illness? Coincidence? Broken-hearted?
They aren't in my direct line, but I do look forward to learning more about them. The cards were passed on to me by my mother-in-law, and while there are Melzers in our line I haven't connected this one. I did find this Joseph connected in an Ancestry.com tree, but there were no supporting documents. At least nothing I would call "rock solid". I'll have to contact the maker of the tree and see if there are sources that haven't yet been posted. Shouldn't be too difficult to get to the bottom of with a little elbow-grease!
