A week of bronchial pneumonia proved fatal to Leonard Lloyd Strean, beloved four and one half months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Strean of R. 2, West Bend, who died Sunday, July 23 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's hospital here.
The child was born March 3, 1939 in the town of Trenton. He is survived by his parents, two sisters, Arlene and Lucille, and two brothers, James and Norbert.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Schmidt Funeral home to the Trinity Lutheran church where Rev. R. W. Groth performed the last rites. Burial was in the Newark cemetery, Barton.
The untimely death of this little child will leave an ache in the hearts of his bereaved parents and brothers and sisters that will not soon be healed. We extend our sincere sympathy."
So heart-breaking to hear of the loss of a child. Even a child you've never met that passed long ago.
